This Advanced Diploma is ideal for professionals who have completed "An Introduction to Working with Clients Presenting as Neurodivergent with Disordered Eating" or possess equivalent qualifications/training. This comprehensive course delves into the complex interplay between neurodiversity and eating disorders, offering insights into optimal nutritional benefits and support strategies for individuals with Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD, Developmental Language issues, Dyspraxia, and other neurological conditions.
 
Course Overview:
Spanning six insightful days, the program covers a wide range of topics:
Day 1 focuses on understanding body image and introduces neuro-affirmative considerations.
Day 2 explores trauma through a neurodivergent lens and the balanced relationship with movement.
Day 3 to Day 6 offer expansion into specific areas like ARFID, Pathological Demand Avoidance, understanding comorbidities, and the intersection of complex ADHD with eating disorders.
Special sessions dedicated to addressing the needs of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, medication considerations, and self-regulation techniques underscore the course's holistic approach.
