Bernie, a co-founder of NEDDE TRAINING, brings a wealth of experience as a BACP (Accred) Counsellor / Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, having obtained her qualifications in 2004.

Her passion for helping individuals with eating disorders and obesity led her to become a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity at The National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) in 2007. Bernie's expertise grew further as she assumed roles such as supervisor, mentor, senior lecturer, and Clinical lead at NCFED. Recognising the lack of accessible support for neurodivergent individuals struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating, she collaborated with Lisa Smith to establish NEDDE TRAINING. Additionally, Bernie has achieved remarkable success in running her own company, Healing Minds, for several years.
